Every knows that marketing can be expensive but for less that a cup of coffee a day you can receive $125 in advertising, an awesome website and state of the art e-mail marketing program.

I have scoured the internet and found two marketing ideas that every small business should be doing to leverage their marketing dollars.

The first thing I discovered that’s actually free to start is an awesome web site offered by Wix. You don’t need any programming skills. All you do is choose a web site template, add your content and within minutes you have created your own free web site to promote your business.

The only catch is it comes with advertising and you don’t have your own domain name.

However, if you’re willing to spend less than $9 a month you’ll get your own domain name, hosting and $125 in Google and Facebook advertising credits. It’s worth paying for the web site just to get the credits.

The second marketing idea that I’ve discovered is e-mail marketing by Constant Contact. You can sign up for a free 60-day trial but I guarantee you that after the trial you won’t want to part with it.

Here’s the link:

It allows you to create effective email campaigns, mange your email contacts simply and save a ton of time all for $15 a month.

If your business offers events, you’re in luck. They even have an event marketing plan that will promote and manage events quickly and easily, create professional looking invites and online registration and home pages; collect online payments automatically and securely; and build email lists that integrate well with other programs starting at only $20 a month.

If you need help implementing these marketing solutions, the Carr Marketing Group is Constant Contact partner and Wix affliate in Burlington, Ontario and can help you.
